Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nur Azura Binti Adam was the immediate former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia. She led the management team in developing the 5-year strategic plan of the faculty that aims to become the reference hub for Southeast Asian agriculture.
She was involved in student development and review of academic program which requires strategizing and planning skills to formulate efficient action plans that aims to produce holistic graduates. She established linkages and collaboration at the international level in academic programs which involves student academic exchange and mobility activities
Dr. Nur finished her studies with Ph.D. and MS in Entomology and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Since 2020, she served as Auditor of the academic program under the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) Accreditation and Panel Advisor for the Master of Science (Entomology), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Crop Agro-industry Diploma Program, College of Vocational, Ministry of Education Malaysia.
In 2018, she established her professional experience in Paris, France as a Malaysian Representative of Regional and Sub-regional Assessments of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services, Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). From 2008 to 2015, she received various honors and awards such as the Excellent Service Award, Best Lecturer Award, and Publication Incentive Award.
